Homework: perform some research on whether a flashlight, water filter, radio device that also holds medicine has been invented. I looked at some emergency preparedness sites and Google patents (type in the keywords).

ReplyDeleteMax researched water filters and found some good information about uv water purification and using a salt solution to disinfect water. He ultimately liked the UV purification better because it takes less time and it fits in with the research project idea that the group has come up with. In the searches he has completed, he didn't find anything on a combined flashlight/water filter, just the UV water purifier.
